Movies Inspired by Helen Keller

The Miracle Worker was filmed in 1979, staring Patty Duke and Anne Bancroft.  It portrays Helen in her young life as she was considered a 'wild child' after she became blind and deaf.  She had many outbursts and became violent out of frustration.  It follows her families journey as they find Anne Sullivan.

Deliverance was filmed in 1918, is a silent film that concentrates on Helen Keller and Anne Sullivans relationship throughout their young adult lives.  It goes into detail about how Helen overcame great adversity as well.  Anne and Helen play themselves in this film

Helen Keller In Her Story: The Unconquered is a documentary filmed in 1954.  It talks about her as a young child and shows her until her elderly years.  It follows her everyday activities that she participated in.
